Minecraft - world won't sync

About 3 days ago i couldn't open Minecraft because it kept saying "Failed to sync user data". I kept trying for the next 3 days and nothing worked so i googled all the solutions and ended up resetting my Xbox one but keeping all my games & apps. After doing
that i could load into the game but have discovered that the world that i'd been playing on for over 2 years wouldn't sync and said something like go to a different console and try to sync on there. so i got my friend to help me and we're still having no luck.
i don't know whats happened or why its happening, could the world somehow have gotten corrupted? but by what?

(Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask for help i don't know where else to go)

edit: the message it brings up when i try to sync it is "the world is not fully synced or has been corrupted. try playing the world on a console where its in a good state and try migrating it again."

Based on your description, it seems to be that you have problem with synchronizing your Minecraft World's.

I understand that you've already tried everything with troubleshooting but still the problem isn't solved. To help you further, how about if you try to sign out and sign in back your account and see if works.

Hey there hanaeerb!

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to your world loaded up.

The soft reset you tried is a great and thorough troubleshooting step to try.

I would say that if that did not work, clear your local game saves, remove your profile, reset your network connection by turning off the console and unplugging your network hardware for a couple of minutes, then add the profile and try again.

You can clear your local game saves by going to Settings> System> Storage> Clear Local Saved Games, and the steps to take off and add your profile can be found on

If those things don't work though, you might want to refer to Mojang support
for information on that specific error.
