    Minecraft world save file corrupted


    I experienced a power outage while on my minecraft world, and the world will no longer open. Ive tried everything, and when it gave me the option to pick a save file either on the xbox (older) or cloud (newer) i picked stored on xbox but i wish i picked
    cloud. How can i get this option again?

    1. Make a copy of the corrupted world folder & all files & folders inside, and rename it however you please. ...
    2. Start Minecraft and create a new world, then save and close Minecraft. ...
    3. Go back to Application Data\. ...
    4. Cut the files (but not the folders) from the new saved world folder.

    Hi!

    If you go into your system settings and go to storage you can enable cloud saving which may then start saving to the cloud for that game. It can also help backup previous saves

    When i try to load my Minecraft world my xbox freezes.

    Try this:

    Copy your save file of the world that won't load to another source, (USB, cloud, etc). Delete the original save file, and remove Minecraft from your console. Clear your console's cache. Redownload, and reinstall Minecraft. Copy the save file back to your
    console. Now try loading the save file.

    If it still freezes, that particular save file may be corrupted. Try creating a new game or loading a different save file. Is the freezing limited to just one save, or does it freeze on all saves?

    Maybe your whole Minecraft data is corrupted. Try to save your worlds on a flashdrive and then delete Minecraft and then redownload it and put your worlds back on it.

    Minecraft doesn't need internet to work unless you play on multiplayer mode. Do you save your world before close your Minecraft? If is corrupt I suggest to copy the corrupted world and check tutorial for uncurrupt it.
