Minecraft World randomly disappeared on PC

Hi,

Yesterday I was playing my Minecraft world titled '=)' for a good few hours. This world is one that I've spent roughly 150+ hours playing on, since the start of this year. I had to do errands, which would take me roughly 30 minutes, so I saved my world, exited Minecraft and turned off my PC. Roughly 30 minutes later, I returned and went to go back on Minecraft only to find my save gone completely. I followed a few articles that said to go through the files and restore previous versions of 'saves' but when I do that, it's not even there (because I didn't delete it). I've also:

1) Deleted Minecraft and then redownloaded it.

2) Shut off my PC and then started it up again.

Can someone please help? I'll be very angered to lose a save for literally no reason, other then logging off to do something.

We understand that you are trying to recover the games that is no longer found on your PC. You mentioned that did not delete the game manually, but instead you just take a 30 minutes break from the game and when you came back you cannot find it.

Let us try to do the steps on this link on recovering your deleted Minecraft games with this link: Managing Data and Game Storage in Minecraft – Home. Just to set expectation that an item deleted using the uninstall method on PC cannot be recover even on the recycled bin folder. You may also try to wait after 24 hours and see it again your file.

Hi RanaYui, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I apologize for the trouble. Seems like you have performed all the necessary steps. For cases like this what we initially need to do is to quit the game and perform power cycle in that way once you launch the game your in-game data will just re-sync.

Kindly quit the game and follow the steps below before you re-launch the game.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.
