    Minecraft world is gone


    So about 3 days ago I was playing minecraft offline on my survival world. I had saved and quit and a little while later I went back on my world, but this time when I saved and quit my world was gone from my list. I immediately restarted my Xbox but It still wasn't there. It's been 2 days and the world has still not returned. I have months of progress on the world and I fear I may have lost it since I was playing offline. Is there any way to recover it?

    Were you in the Minecraft Preview as well as system preview? It might be that the newer version of Minecraft worlds aren't recognized by the older version? If not, I thought they synced via the cloud, and would check that you're connected and
    cloud storage synced properly ( https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/cloud-storage-sync-error-messages ).

    We need to gather some more information regarding your issue. What Minecraft game are you playing? Is it Minecraft Java or Minecraft for Windows 10 Edition? Also, on what platform did you had this problem?

    PalmettoBling is correct. Game saves and worlds are synced online (unless you had this turned off).

    Sync can get delayed, so I would just give it some time.
