Minecraft world gone after game froze

Followup question,

If I then buy the game digitally will I keep progress. For example will all minecraft worlds be gone or will they still be there after I buy the digital game?

Here are the specifics: Went to play minecraft. The game updated and my console froze right after it completed. I turned my xbox off, then restarted it. EVERYTHING was gone. It totally deleted two offline accounts that I can not seem to recover. Everything
we had purchased over our tenure on LIVE, and I have a bad feeling all game saves are gone as well.

So as I was playing on my minecraft world my game froze. I decided to shut down my xbox and then unplug it. When I loaded back into my Minecraft world, it said: “There was a problem loading this world.” How can i fix this so i can get back on my
world? Thanks.

My world says the same thing please fix this bug!

Wow, I have carried out these steps in the past for a different problem but that problem needed different actions, thus I did not have much hope this time. Guess I was wrong !!!!

I have approached the developer - they only provide technical support for the computer version of the game but not for consoles. Other than that they only provide account support but not technical support.

Don't forget - this is Microsoft, they are not really great when it comes to consumer support ....
