Minecraft won't update

After hard resetting, force shutdown and unplugging multiple times with changing network i cant update it. I've tried canceling the update and it won't cancel. I've tried pausing it and it won't pause. I've uninstealled it completely and it's still updating the game as if it was still installed + I can't install it again because it's "updating" It's getting pretty annoying as well as not helping with online gaming on other games when it focusing all the internet on a 1 gb update. Somehow a 1 gb update from this already decaying game franchise completely broke my xbox one s. Now I'm just tempted to get a ps4/5, get a refund on mw2 pre order.

So.

You may want to wait For the Update to roll out and Microsoft to Make it were you can update, the Microsoft store would usually Show on a Little Download icon were you can update things, you may want to Wait. if this Doesn't work Please contact the Game Developer.

Please follow the instructions listed here => Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files (microsoft.com). After checking for corrupted files, run Windows Update Troubleshooter for Windows 10 (microsoft.com).

If the issue persists, then you can contact the developer of the game through => Submit a request – Home (minecraft.net).

If you try installing a different game or app, it works?
In case you didn't tried that please do it. (Before that check if you're able to cancel the pending minecraft download, if not. Prioritize the new game or app download)

If maybe the issue Persists, may I know if you tried changing the location and language? (Can be a bit odd but worth try that)
Go to settings > system > language and location
Use English (US) and United States (or English UK - United Kingdom)

By the way, may I know if you're using an insider build / beta OS in your console?

Yea I have the same problem with the exact same version. Tried everything! Even in the Windows store it says the version is 1.17.2, but when you re-download it’s still stuck at 1.16.211.

It’s very frustrating.
