Minecraft won't update to 1.18

Sorry to hear about your game not updating. Couple quick questions. Where are you seeing the version history? The 1.18.2 update should be visible inside the game's main menu in the bottom right-hand side. Also, are you part of the Minecraft insider program? Also known as the beta or limited release program? This would possibly cause your system to have a different version.

I check manage games and add-ons which is installed on internal storage which shows version 1.17.10005.70 and yes, I check I was in the beta program however I left it, but still have the same issue

I actually had the same problem. Make sure you’re not in the Minecraft beta, and not in the Minecraft accessibility beta. They are both 2 different beta’s.

After removing both beta enrolments, remove Minecraft, reinstall & restart your console. My game started updating about 10 minutes after.
