Minecraft won’t log out

So I’m trying to get logged out of a Microsoft account to sign into a different Microsoft account for Minecraft as I no longer have access to the email associated with the first account. So I purchased Minecraft on a second account, but in the launcher it automatically fills in the email of the old account and asks for the password. I cannot input the password as I do not know it. So then I try to swap accounts to the new one and it won’t let me switch the email address to the new one, it just gets stuck asking for the password of the old account. I’ve tried signing out in the Xbox app on the pc and it also does not allow me to change to the new email, it just remains at the same screen asking for the password to the old account. Same with the Microsoft Store app, just asks for the old account password. What do I do from here? Using Windows 11.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues logging in to your Minecraft because the system automatically logs you in using your older account.

Based on the information that you provided, your credentials manager may be causing this issue.

Delete all Xbox and Microsoft from your credentials manager. There is a high possibility that your previous credentials are saved in your cache and being used automatically.

Credential Manager lets you view and delete your saved credentials for signing in to websites, connected applications, and networks.

Click on Start > Search for Credential manager > Windows credentials. Search for Xbl|DeviceKey, click on it and then Remove. Also, remove all the XblGrts and XboxLive credentials.

unfortunately it won’t work. i’m logged into minecraft on another laptop, is it possible to see my email address in the minecraft launcher?

I don’t think it has to do with that. When I log into the Minecraft website it says that I have Minecraft purchased, it won’t let me log in with this account into the Minecraft launcher. Whenever I click log in with Microsoft or I click on my account to log in, it says that there was an issue while logging in.

The insider hub won’t install for me. A year or so ago I deleted a bunch of stuff to free up space and now it won’t install like Minecraft. I know that before I deleted it I unenrolled from beta and did all the stuff to get out of beta. My Minecraft hasn’t been on beta so I’m pretty sure I’m out of it.

I purchased Advanced Mining world for my son’s ipad yesterday and it won’t complete loading. As it completes loading it crashes out and logs out of Minecraft completely. Apple refuse to refund. How can it complete loading? My son is very disappointed.
