Minecraft Windows 10 won't install purchased/downloadable content

Whilst I was waiting for my friends to get on, I decided to download old content which I had bought, problem is when I do so I am met with a bug/glitch that causes it to be permanently stuck on downloading with zero progress ever being made and when trying to attempt at canceling the download I am met with a download bar with no text apart from a button to cancel and the X. I have attempted things from other discussions but none seem to work I hope that seeing some pictures will help with fixing the issue. I am hoping to get this fixed as it's a very big problem that seems very little have. I am currently on 1.18.30 Bedrock Windows 10.

You are on the 1.18.30 or the 1.18.30.30 as this could be because you are using Minecraft beta and this content is probably not compatible with it currently, but to confirm you should contact Minecraft support

Since this is the Windows 10 version you'll want to check in the Windows Store to download the game. With the Minecraft bundle, you'll receive three codes. One is for the Xbox One version of the game, the second is for the Windows 10 version and the last
is for the Builders pack for Xbox One which allows you more Skins and other ingame content. If you click on this link

HERE it should open up the Windows Store for you at the game's purchasing page and give you the option to install it.

So... there are two versions of Microsoft. Both work on Windows 10. One is purchased from the Minecraft website (java editions) and the other (bedrock edition) is purchased through the Microsoft Store (the app store on Windows).

If you have purchased the Java edition, all you need to do is download the installer, sign-in into the installer and then it will download the latest snapshot of the game and run.

Thanks for your post. I understand you are looking to install your previous purchase of Minecraft for Windows 10. As long as you are signed into the Microsoft account you used to redeem your code, you will be able to download the game without repurchase.

Do you own the PC version of Minecraft? If not you only have the beta and wont be able to upgrade unless you purchase the regular Minecraft for windows 10. If you do own the PC version of Minecraft you should be able to upgrade to the Minecraft windows 10
edition for free. Check this website on the PC and see if it says to install or purchase.
