    Hello,

    I'm a little frustrated with how many times I have to buy Minecraft. I pre-purchased the game back in Dec. 2010 for the PC. I distinctly remember the, "You get
    ALL future versions of the game, including all expansions and add ons." I've bought Minecraft for the Xbox 360, the Xbox One X, and I have the Java version as mentioned above.

    I missed out on the promotion "If you bought Minecraft: Java Edition before October 19th, 2018, then you can still claim your free Windows 10 version until April 20th, 2020." Which I didn't happen to have a gaming PC then, so I wouldn't have
    had any realistic way to find out about the promotion. Unless I always tried to keep up with the latest Minecraft News, or just happened to get really lucky and see it online.

    Now that I missed that promotion I have to resort to purchasing the game again for the PC for the 4th time. I believe that Microsoft should have an indefinite incentive for people not just like myself, but others that have been affected

    I realize that I'll not get a free code, and I'll have to buy the game for my PC, but it's just poor performance from Microsoft and Mojang.

    Tl;dr Free games promised, 1. Free games received, 0.

    Also please make sure you bought the right version. There are three Minecraft games in Microsoft Store.

    They are -

    Minecraft(If you want to play it on Xbox One, you should buy this version)

    Minecraft for Windows 10

    Minecraft for Windows 10 Mobile.

    Minecraft and Minecraft for Windows 10 share the same pic in Microsoft Store.

    There are different versions of Minecraft on Xbox One! Theres Minecraft Xbox One Version, Minecraft (compatible with pc, mobile, switch).

    The Version that you say Minecraft Windows 10 its only for Windows PC.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. The only way to get the Minecraft windows 10 edition would be to purchase it. The Xbox version, java, and Windows 10 are all separate versions. Here is a

    there are 2 versions, minecraft windows 10 version and mojang minecraft java edition, these are 2 completely seperate games if you purchase the mojang one you still need to purchase the windows 10 version if you want that one.
