Minecraft Windows 10 version refund trouble

Ok so I purchased Minecraft Windows 10 version a while ago, after trying it out I realized it was NOT what I was led to believe it was (by advertising etc) so naturally I tried getting a refund.

"Tried" being the keyword here, I'm still trying. No one has given me any proper help when it comes to this, so can someone point me in the right direction please?

I need a refund

I purchased a windows 10 version of minecraft when I already had a minecraft launcher on my computer, and I bought an account afterwards and now I no longer require the Windows 10 version, I would like a refund of the Windows 10 version of Minecraft.

Trouble downloading Minecraft Windows 10 version.

I have trouble with getting the Minecraft windows 10 version. I already have miecraft, and recieved a gift code from mojang, but it says that I already used the code last year. The problem is that I dont have the windows 10 version on my computer, so I am
wondering what happened, and how to get the windows 10 version of minecraft without paying for minecraft again?

Did you buy "Minecraft Master Collection" or "Minecraft for Windows 10 Master Collection"? The first is only for the console. You would need to purchase the Window 10 edition to play it on PC.

If you purchased the wrong version, you'll want to submit a refund request and then purchase the correct version.

They are 2 versions of the game you can buy from the Microsoft Store.

Make sure you purchased the correct version for your device.

To get your money back, go to xbox.com/refund, and follow the instructions.

Hi! You can't play the Windows 10 version of Minecraft on your Xbox 360, so you will have to purchase it for the Xbox 360. You can reach out to Xbox Support though in order to see if a refund for the Windows 10 version is possible: https://support.xbox.com/contact-us

Minecraft Dungeons is not a Play Anywhere title, if you bought the Windows 10 version, even if you input the code on your Xbox, you still redeemed the Windows 10 version of the game.

You can still ask for a refund/exchange to get the Xbox version, if it has been less than 14 days it should be a relatively easy process.
