Minecraft Windows 10 Starter Collection Refund Method

i bought minecraft windows 10 edition starter collection few minutes ago.

but i mispurchased. i should have to buy java edition. i even not played the game 1 second.

i want to get refund. how should i do? can you help me?

Hi there!

The refund form is not available in all regions so for a refund you would need to contact Xbox Customer Support in your region using the following steps:

https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us.
Select Contact Us.
Select "Account & profile" in the first drop-down and then "I need a Microsoft account" in the second drop-down
If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in to your Microsoft Account at this point.
Once logged in, scroll down in the window to Other options and select Request a Call.
You can add additional information at this point if you'd like and then select Request call
A new window will open for you to enter your Country/region and your best contact number, then select Confirm and you'll be placed in a queue to receive a call back from Customer Support

There are two versions of the Minecraft Starter Collection: one for Windows (Minecraft for Windows Starter Collection) and one for Xbox (Minecraft Starter Collection).

If you purchased the Minecraft for Windows Starter Collection (which is not compatible with console), you would need to ask for a refund of it and then purchase the right version for the console.

To ask for a refund of the game, please go to:

Just sign in with the Microsoft account that made the purchase and you should be able to ask for a refund.

Are you sure you have purchased the correct version of Minecraft. The Xbox One version can also be bought from the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 too.
