Minecraft Windows 10 sign in problem

    Minecraft Windows 10 sign in problem


    When I try to sign in on minecraft windows 10 the sign in window comes up, but disappears immediately after it shows up. I have tried restarting my computer, reinstalling minecraft, signing in and out of the xbox app, and using the windows store app troubleshooter.
    None of these things have fixed it and I don't know what to try next.

    Hey Nikolio16,

    Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition runs specifically on Windows 10. If you would like to play Minecraft on Xbox One, you will want to take a look at Minecraft:
    Xbox One Edition    . If you would like to install the Windows 10 version of Minecraft on your Windows 10 PC, sign into the account that originally redeemed the code and download through the Windows Store.

    Sign in the Microsoft Store with the old account. Then, install "Minecraft for Windows 10", it should be free. After that, sign out your old account from the Microsoft Store. Open up "Minecraft for Windows 10", then sign in with your new account. You will

    I'm sorry to hear about the issue. Let's have you try resetting the Minecraft app rather than reinstalling it again. On your Windows 10 PC:

    • Open the Start menu
    • Open Settings
    • Select Apps
    • Search for 'Minecraft' in the list of Apps & features
    • Click the name
    • Open Advanced Options
    • Choose Reset app

    Let us know if that gets you logged in and playing again. Minecraft Windows 10 sign in problem :)

    I am running into the same thing ... We are on a surface pro 3 and my dad logged into store (ThePinkElephant) from my standard account and installed Minecraft. When we try to open minecraft, it just shows the Mahjong splash screen and nothing happens. Dad
    made me an admin on the computer and that didn't help either. I logged into the store and into XBox using my xbox live account () and that didn't help. If we log into his account on the Surface, then it will open just fine.

    Help ... I don't want to play under my dad's account (and he doesn't want me to either).

    Please check under https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ if your purchase for Minecraft Windows 10 shows up.

    Be aware that Minecraft for Windows 10 is different from Minecraft on Xbox and also different from Java Minecraft on PC. If you bought Java Minecraft BEFORE Oct. 2018, you need to sign into your Mojang account on the Minecraft.net website, and can redeem
    a code for Windows 10 Minecraft.

    After you got Minecraft for Windows 10, make sure you sign in with the same account that you bought it. Open the Windows 10 store, check that's the right account in the upper right.

    Then open the menu and check your library. If you bought Minecraft 10 with that account, you will find it there.
