Discus and support Minecraft Windows 10 PC not available to redownload on new PC in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I took up the offerof a free Windows 10 version of Minecraft on the PC (I have the Java edition and this was an offer).     Minecraft Windows 10 PC not available to redownload on new PC


    I took up the offerof a free Windows 10 version of Minecraft on the PC (I have the Java edition and this was an offer). I hasn’t played out for a while and changed my PC and now why I try and download it I can’t workout buying it again.
    Mojang tells me that it is an Xbox service issue.
    I’m definitely using the correct account.

    How can I get it applied to my account so I dont havr to buy it again?

    Minecraft

    Minecraft for Windows 10 is only available for the PC. If you've been playing on the console then you have Minecraft. You would need to purchase Minecraft for Windows 10 if you want to play it on the PC. Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title. It's also
    only available for Game Pass for console, not Game Pass for PC.

    You would have to purchase the PC version (Minecraft for Windows 10) in order to play it on the PC. Unfortunately Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title and is not available for PC through Game Pass.

    There is no Windows 10 version for the console. There's Minecraft (which is for the console) and Minecraft for Windows 10 (for the PC). Since Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title, you would have to purchase the PC version separately in order to play it
    on the PC.

    Your friend may have been able to get the PC version for free during a promotion, but there are currently no promotions available to get the PC version for free for owning the console version.

    Hey there,

    The windows 10 edition will only be available on a Windows 10 platform. If you do have the new update in which the game is now only called "Minecraft" then that one should be available to play on both the PC and on your Xbox One.
