Minecraft Windows 10: Move from Beta (90 min free) to Unlocking Full Game

Hi, could you try searching for "Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition" using the Store App in your Windows 10 PC.

Since you own the game, you should be able to download it from there without buying again.

If it says installed, try unistalling and reinstalling the game again. If the install button pops up, do install it.

If the download/install button does not pop up in the store or you are not getting the full game make sure you have logged into the right account.

It was 50 games to unlock him in the beta and then 10 playing with him to get him in the full game.

You're thinking of the Golden Retro i think. That was 100 kills with standard retro and then 90 with the Golden to get it in the full game.

I believe Brad was referring to the Java edition but his point was that the beta does not give you access to the full version of the Windows 10 edition and it will need to be bought separately. Back then you could download the Windows 10 edition for free
if you had the PC (Java) edition when the full version of the Windows 10 edition released. I'm not sure that is the case now.

The only information I found regarding a Minecraft Windows 10 beta was an actual beta released in 2015 to test the Windows 10 edition before the full version released. This beta was separate and had to be downloaded from the Store and does not seem to be
a part of the full version of the game, which would need to be purchased separately.

Do you have confirmation you have purchased the full version of Minecraft Windows 10 edition? Check you order history to make sure:

Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.
