    Minecraft Windows 10 gold smelting and furnace bug


    I have recently started a survival world on the windows 10 beta and when I try to smelt gold ore nothing happens. Also after smelting iron in a furnace part of the arrow indicating how long is left stayed there even when nothing is smelting.

    Acquire Hardware and Iron Belly achievements won't unlock.

    The aquiring hardware achievement will be fixed in the next title update too.

    Going by the description of the bug it seems to be related to removing the ingot from the furnace using the quick move 'Y' button so try smelting one and removing it from the furnace without using the quick move button.

    Alternatively wait for the title update.

    Just to add to the above, you need to mine certain ores and then smelt them in a furnace to make ingots. Just look for rocks with weird colorings and those are usually ore veins.

    It's the same thing, the furnace and the dispenser both are capable of cause the glitch.
