    Minecraft Windows 10 game crashing when leaving beta


    I recently joined the beta for Minecraft on Windows 10. Everything worked fine until I wanted to go back to regular Minecraft so I could play with friends. After leaving the beta whenever I loaded up Minecraft the game will crashed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and restarted my computer but the same thing always happens. What should I do?

    insider hub minecraft beta issues

    Hi!

    Try these steps to leave Minecraft Beta:

    1. Open the Xbox Insider Hub app and unenroll from the beta.
    2. Uninstall Minecraft.
    3. Power cycle Xbox console by holding down the power button until the console turns off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the console back on.
    4. Reinstall Minecraft from the Ready to Install section of Games & Apps.

    You will need to leave the Xbox Insiders Minecraft Beta. Try following these steps:

    To leave the Minecraft Beta:

    1. On Xbox One or a Windows 10 PC, sign in with the account that registered for the Minecraft Beta and
      launch the Xbox Insider Hub.
    2. Navigate to Insider content > Minecraft (or Minecraft for Windows 10 on PC)
    3. Select Manage.
    4. Use the radio button to select Unenroll (Leave this preview), then select
      Done.
    5. Wait an additional 30-60 minutes after unenrollment completes (Pending no longer appears in the Xbox Insider Hub).
    6. Uninstall and reinstall Minecraft.
