    Minecraft Windows 10 Edition started lagging all of a sudden


    Hello,

    I played Minecraft Windows 10 Edition for years and never experienced such issues. I was playing ~60 FPS all the time, but in the last few months everything has changed. Whenever I enter my local world or a server, everything becomes very laggy, about 30 FPS which is very annoying. I even lowered the graphics, but the lag is still there.

    My system requirements:

    ---------------------------

    MacBook 2015

    Windows 10 Home installed with Bootcamp

    Intel Core i5-5257U

    Intel Iris Graphics 6100

    8GB of RAM

    Connected to an external screen through HDMI cable (Asus VS247) FHD

    SSD (Windows 10 Home) with about ~150GB (MacOS Monterey ~80 GB)

    As you can see, my laptop's hardware is pretty decent. I don't believe it's up to my laptop. If it is, it probably would've been lagging since I got it. I hope someone will respond and solve the problem.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. The only way to get the Minecraft windows 10 edition would be to purchase it. The Xbox version, java, and Windows 10 are all separate versions. Here is a

    I am confused by your answer. I have never logged in to Xbox Live. I simply click on Minecraft icon on Windows 10 to start to play. The version is Minecraft Starter Edition for Windows 10.

    I own minecraft "windows 10 edition" on xbox one but isn't availabile on windows 10....
    There is no "Windows 10 Edition" on the Xbox One.

    On the Xbox One, there was a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" but that has been replaced with just "Minecraft".

    As the others already said, "Minecraft" is not a Play Anywhere title, so owning "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, doesn't give you "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" on the PC.

    However, if you own Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you can log into your Mojang Account on PC, and can get a code for the Windows 10 Version.

    Hi Makap, how are you?

    First of all, be sure your Windows 10 and your drivers is up to date.

    After that, if the problem still occurs, you can open the Resources Manager pressing (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and check if something else is consuming your CPU/RAM
