Minecraft windows 10 Edition Product key stolen?

I have bought minecraft pc edition maybe 10 years ago

this year i bought a new laptop and decided i wanted to play again

so i went to mojang and microsoft to check my gift code for win10

but it said the code wad already being used...

i contacted microsoft and the told me that they couldnt help about anything

what the **** is this microsoft?

you guys lost my key and now its only my loss?

why cant you delete the account of the person who is using mine?

Will I get minecraft free on minecraft.net if I bought in on the windows store?

As someone who has Minecraft for both Xbox One and Windows (both Win 10 version and the Java version) I can answer this.

Poli5hesBubble: When the Windows 10 Edition (Windows Store Version) of the Minecraft entered public Beta in 2015/2016, owners of the pre-existing Java version were given a key to download and own the Windows 10 Edition (Windows Store Version) for free, as
they already owned it for PC (in Java form). However, this does NOT work in reverse; if you bought the Windows 10 Edition (Windows Store Version), you will NOT be given a free copy of the Java version.

KyleCBlanchard: Similar to the answer for Poli5hedBubble, if you own the Java version from Minecraft.net, you should be able to go to your Mojang account, log in and see a key that, once entered into the Windows Store or at redeem.microsoft.com, will allow

How do i get Minecraft Java with the Windows 10 Edition?

So I bought Minecraft Windows 10 edition and I read that if you had Minecraft Java edition you could get the Windows 10 edition. I am just wondering if there is any way to get Minecraft Java edition with the Windows 10 edition. Thanks!

You only enter a code once, and it's on your account forever.

To find your game, first log into the account that owns it and go to Start > Microsoft store > click the 3 dots at the top right > My Library > games > find your game there to download.

No that is not the problem the person who has used my gift key is not me i have no hands on that account.

Something went wrong with microsoft's key protection and someone else got their dirty hands on my key.

That is the problem... Why cant microsoft delete a minecraft gift key on the other persons account?

So you redeemed the code on windows 10 in the past and you no longer have access to that account?

Redeemed codes can't simply be used again on another account once they've been used once. You use it once it's yours on that account forever and that can't be changed in any way.

If you don't have access to the account where it was redeemed then you will have to purchase it again.

If you did not redeem the code on an account you own and it says it's used then either you used it on another account without knowing (check where I posted earlier to look for your game on windows 10 store) or someone took the code, which highly unlikely,
can not be solved.

Please contact xbox support for help if your code was indeed stolen and you never redeemed it in the past:

Did you redeem the code 10 years ago? If so when a code is redeemed the license for that game is put onto that account.

So you would need to sign into that account that you inserted that code into 10 years ago in order to be able to redownload your game to your new computer.

This is what the other posts have been trying to tell you.
