Minecraft Windows 10 Edition - Multiplayer "Invalid Username"

Hello,

I want to make this post as simple and short as possible, because I have contacted support about this already. Before you reply to this, please research and find the exact solution because I want this to be over as soon as possible. So basically, i'm unable
to play Minecraft Windows 10 Edition because my gamer tag has a space in it. I'm sure this has to do with the fact that Minecraft Windows 10 Edition is cross-platform with Minecraft Pocket Edition for IOS/Android. MANY people with a space in there username
are having the same exact problem. I have emailed Mojang and they have said that this problem has to be resolved with Microsoft and isn't from there game, it's also caused from the space in my username. Here is a link that takes you to a bug ticket that was
assigned to a Mojang staff member. They stated in this bug ticket that it is from the Xbox Gamertag. Someone said that after contacting Xbox support they were able to get a gamer tag change free of charge. I'm expecting the same thing, because it's not my
fault and it wouldn't be fair for me to pay $10 to change my name. Here is the think:

In advance, I would just like the space in my username to be removed. From "" to "HamzaOG", I hate to change my name, but it's what I have to do to play multiplayer then let it be.

Minecraft windows 10 edition, export map to Desktop version of minecraft.

How do I export my world in minecraft windows 10 edition, to launcher of minecraft java? Well when I put it does not appear, but in the versions of pc to pc java it appears, but only the minecraft windows 10 edition does not work!

Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.

Unfortunately there is no way to receive a free name change. In your case you would actually have to pay to change it once to something else and then again to change it back to your original tag without spaces. The tag system doesn't see something like spaces
as making a gamertag unique. You can try contacting support again to see if there is anything they can do, but there is nothing we can do on the forums. We are just fellow gamers like yourself.

Looked through some of the help articles - man the information is confusing.

Anyways from what I'm inferring from the posts is that you can play Windows 10 to Windows 10, and Pocket Edition to Windows 10 and that's it right now.

I own minecraft "windows 10 edition" on xbox one but isn't availabile on windows 10....

There is no "Windows 10 Edition" on the Xbox One.

On the Xbox One, there was a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" but that has been replaced with just "Minecraft".

As the others already said, "Minecraft" is not a Play Anywhere title, so owning "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, doesn't give you "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" on the PC.

However, if you own Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you can log into your Mojang Account on PC, and can get a code for the Windows 10 Version.

I also had this problem , your screen showing "invalid name"probably and since another player should already be using your gametag on that server or game.

I bought the Windows 10 version of Minecraft by mistake, but the one I wanted was the java edition.

I saw that anyone who buys minecraft java edition is entitled to minecraft Windows 10. Is the reverse also true? Who buys minecraft windows 10 is entitled to minecraft java edition?

If so, how do I access the java edition version at no additional cost?
