    Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Issues with it being a Demo?


    Hi! I've actually been to support before and didn't really get the issue figured out, so I thought I'd post on here and see if anybody else had the same issues. So I've been playing the Windows 10 Edition as I got it for free through one of Microsoft's
    Programs. It's been sitting in my library until about 2-3 months ago when me and my buddies started a clan war type world, where we all got on as it was a world I owned. Around March it started to not let my Xbox buddies join the game at all, and gave them
    a "Unable to connect to world" error. Apparently I owned a previous Demo version (Don't ask me how, even the support guy was extremely confused). But now even if I want to actually purchase the game to continue the world, it says I already own this product
    and I cannot purchase it again. I'd greatly appreciate any help if anybody can, thank you!

    When you say you started a "clan war type world", was that a world you hosted on your own computer and people could ONLY play when you were playing the game?

    Or did you by accident start a free trial for a Realm, where your world is hosted by Microsoft on their cloud servers so anyone can get on that world anytime (with or without you being online), and now the free trial ended, and you didn't pay the monthly Realm
    fee, so the wold is inaccessible unless you pay for the realm?

    I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the game first. If that does not work then i would suggest signing in and out of your xbox account. Finally if that doesn't solve it then i would suggest wiping any data that you have on your computer from
    Minecraft and then reinstall it.

    It wasn't a realm world, more a server that my friends could join off of. Which suddenly stopped working game hosting wise, but I can join others fine with no issues.
