Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition: I can't join my friend's world

Hi, I'm Lucky and I'll try to help you this afternoon. He may not have an updated version of Minecraft yet. Trying checking for updates, if that's not the case try making a new world/server.

I have the same problem. all my friends can join it but I can't. it worked fine a week ago, but after the weekend it has gone downhill.

I have tried the following:

• restarting pc
• changing networks
• toggling the proxy network settings (i watched a video)
• and reinstalled (So it is on the latest version)

I have made sure that I am logged in an account is not terminated or anything. I can access other servers like mineplex fine it's just my friend's server. please help.

The Minecraft Xbox One Edition only works on the Xbox One Edition.

You might want to upgrade to the Minecraft (without Xbox One Edition in the name) on your Xbox. If you bought Minecraft Xbox One Edition digitally, you can upgrade to "Minecraft" for free.

Then you can import your world from the Xbox One Edition to "Minecraft" for Xbox One.

However, the Support page for Windows 10 Minecraft states: "The Windows 10 Edition does not currently support the transferring of worlds from other devices."

So you can't transfer your world between devices.

You might have to move your World to a paid online Realm server to access it. Or you might have to run your Xbox One Minecraft in Multiplayer, and connect to the running world on your Xbox One with your Windows 10 version.

But you can't have your World separately transferred from Xbox to other devices.

As I said, you can try hosting your world on a Realm server (which you need to pay for), and can then access it with Windows 10, Xbox One, Android, iOS and Nintendo Switch.

But not JAVA.

I am having the same problem, however, for me, it is my friend who is on the Xbox and I am on the Windows 10 version. He cant join the world that I created anymore. He can, however, join me if I create a new world and I can join any of his old
worlds. I Have a theory on what the problem is. We were playing the game fine one afternoon and we both had to get off for a bit to do other things. When I came back it said that my game was updated and some bugs were fixed. From then on my friend can't
join any previous worlds I created but he can join new ones. You will encounter a similar problem on the java edition of Minecraft if you try to connect to a server with a wrong client version. It appears as if the clients updated but the world it's self
did not which is why my friend can't join. That is my theory at least. I did what you said above and it and it still doesn't work.
