    Hello,

    So I've been wanting to play Minecraft VR, but in order to do that, I need to install Minecraft Windows 10 Edition. The problem is that every single time I click the login button, it freezes and quits to desktop. I have scrounged the internet for a solution
    but nobody else seems to have the same problem, or at least, nobody has answered the ones similar to mine.

    I have tried:

    • Reinstalling Minecraft Windows 10 Edition
    • Troubleshooting the Microsoft store and Minecraft via the settings
    • Resetting both the store and Minecraft
    • Reinstalling my graphics card
    • Changing my graphics card's settings to prefer integrated graphics (in my case, Intel)
    • Installing the newest Windows Update
    • Restarting my computer
    • Begging and pleading
    • Going into my services and running all Xbox related services

    Nothing. Works. Someone please help me.

    It's the newest version of Minecraft, if that helps. The nether update one.

    I am confused by your answer. I have never logged in to Xbox Live. I simply click on Minecraft icon on Windows 10 to start to play. The version is Minecraft Starter Edition for Windows 10.

    I own minecraft "windows 10 edition" on xbox one but isn't availabile on windows 10....
    There is no "Windows 10 Edition" on the Xbox One.

    On the Xbox One, there was a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" but that has been replaced with just "Minecraft".

    As the others already said, "Minecraft" is not a Play Anywhere title, so owning "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, doesn't give you "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" on the PC.

    However, if you own Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you can log into your Mojang Account on PC, and can get a code for the Windows 10 Version.

    I logged into my old xbox and delete all the worlds. about 1G of it, and i now only have 2 very small words remaining. Ive restarted and the issue still occurs.

    Not only this, when I do not log into my account upon opening up Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, I still get the issue.
