Minecraft Windows 10 cant join any servers other than "official servers"

What server are you trying to join exactly?

Be aware that some servers only work with the JAVA version of Minecraft. Not all servers support the Windows 10 Minecraft version.

If in doubt, check the website for the server (if it exists) or contact the server administrator (if known).

Though I do not think there is a direct link to your issue, there is not much for me to go on. I am sorry you are having problems.

From there if you can give me any more details I would appreciate it. You were smart to reset the store and use the new assistant, next area is the firewall. Let us know the status after you have worked through the above steps. I do hope all gets flowing.

Ah see I didn't know this the last time played minecraft was like 2015 haha I'm guessing this might be the case as I found a server that worked so I'm assuming thats the problem thank you!

v793.1 - 12/4/19 fixed multiple crashes, fixed an issue preventing people from connecting

v792.62 - 12/3/19 fixed a server crash.

You may want to check to see if there are any other updates you need. They seem to patch this product an awful lot.

Windows 10 - 793.3 released December 5 2019 - Network fix for joining servers and structures loading improperly

I can join a friends realm and when I join I can run about but it looks like I'm standing still to everyone else. When I break blocks it doesn't crumble it breaks as a whole and doesn't drop the block. I've done all the usual stuff; reinstall minecraft,
restart router, changed privacy settings but nothing worked. Any thoughts and help will be appreciated.

Im sorry you are having issues with logging into minecraft at the moment, I have had a bit to do with minecraft servers so lets see if i cant help you solve this one

- Just confirming its minecraft for windows 10? not minecraft java?

- Does this happen to anyone else on the server? or only yourself?

- where is your location?(do not post address, just city/country) and where is the server based?
