    I hope I'm posting this question in the right place.I am unable to join any of my friends games. I am unable to join any minecraft pe servers. I have no problem playing locally i.e. my son and i pplaying on different computers in our house. I have "broadcast
    to xbox live" enabled, all the updates available are installed and I even uninstalled minecraft and teh xbox app using power shell and reinstalled tehm straight from the store! I've rebooted, prayed, asked friends and looked everywhere for a solution. Help!

    Not sure if it is still possible but you might have different versions. When I downloaded the Minecraft better together beta on my one. I could not join my windows 10 version until I downloaded the beta for win 10 version also. You or your friend might have
    the win 10 version while the other has the new better together version of Minecraft.

    Unable To Join Friends World On Xbox Because Of An Outdated Client On Minecraft.

    You can either join the Insider Beta as well and get the 1.13 beta, or you can ask your friends to leave the beta, uninstall Minecraft, and re-install the official 1.11.4 version.

    If you wish to join the Beta, you can open the Windows 10 Store, and search for the Xbox Insider App.

    Install the App, and sign in.

    Under Insider Content you should see the Minecraft Beta. There you are able to join.

    Submitted bug report to Mojang, 25 Jul 17, no resolution as of this time. :(

    So... it appears you're having problems connecting to your friends worlds in Minecraft for Windows 10.

    I would have them check their in-game settings in Minecraft under the main menu there, and make sure that Online play is enabled. Sometimes this is switched to being disabled and therefore they cannot join any online games and friends cannot join their game
    either. Both you and your friends should check in Minecraft settings and make sure that Online play is enabled and friends are allowed to join. Then you can select which permissions you would like to enable for your friends when they join your world after
    that.

    I purchased Minecraft for Windows 10 yesterday, updated my drivers to the latest version and joined the beta via the insider app. Minecraft for Windows 10 RTX beta was in the list on my PC.
