Minecraft Windows 10 and Java bundle not working

Hello Jadon, sorry that you had to go through it all but, you can try contacting Mojang support, which will take a few weeks to get a respond from them, on the other hand they will fix the issue though, as of now every person who owns either Bedrock or Java should get the other game for free on the Xbox or Microsoft Store website.

So the best thing you can do is Contact Mojang support.

When did you purchased Minecraft for windows 10?
This can be a bit odd but did you purchased the in the same store as your Microsoft account country?
For example, your Microsoft account region is USA. did you purchased the game from the USA Xbox marketplace?
And, did you try checking via Xbox.com if the "Get" button appears?

For what device did you buy Minecraft for? (EG: Windows 10 Edition, Xbox, Switch, Playstation, or Pocket edition)
Did you buy it in the correct region?

If you did buy the Windows 10 edition on the correct region, head over to "https://aka.ms/JavaBedrockEdition" then click on "Get", If you did everything correctly, you should get Java edition into your Microsoft account withotu any additional fees/costs.

If it still asks you to pay to get the game, please contact Mojang support.
