    Minecraft Win 10 is forcing me to rebuy even tho I already own the game


    I'm having an issue with Minecraft Windows 10. I am able to play it on my old PC and Xbox One but not on my newer Windows Surface. Whenever I launch the app it won't let me sign into my account, the only option I'm given is to rebuy the game which I don't
    need to do since I already own it. Any suggestions?

    Make sure it is the right type of minecraft you are trying to play.
    I have, i have Minecraft Win 10 on my old PC and that’s what i’m trying to play on my new Surface.

    the win10 and the xbox one version of minecraft are two different games, if you want to use it on pc you'll have to rebuy it.

    If I want to play the game, then yes I am being forced to rebuy a game I already own. AC Brotherhood and Revelations aren't backward compatible, yet if I buy this pack for $60 when I already own the games then I somehow am able to play all the games included
    in this pack
