    Minecraft will not launch on Xbox series X


    I have owned Minecraft (digital version) on my xbox for years. I have had it downloaded on my series X since I got the console.

    I have just come back from holiday (having played the game before I left) and now when I try to start the game up from the dash board it comes up with a notice saying "do you own this game or app".

    I have reset my xbox multiple times.. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times and it is still not recognising that I own the game...

    I am at a loss at what to do now. Any help much appreciated!

    Ok I have both versions of GTA downloaded on my series x the Xbox one version works fine on the series x I then downloaded the series s/x version on the series x I then launched the game and it gives the error message

    With the Xbox One X you'll be safe to wait well after launch to buy the new Series X.

    They've already said that launch games like Halo Infinite will also be launched for Xbox One consoles.

    I've had my Xbox One X for over a year. I plan to buy the Xbox Series X for my main television and then move my Xbox One X to my living room television as my secondary console.

    I am having the same issue, except I played right before work, and when I came home for lunch the issue was there. I went through Microsoft support and did everything they said to no avail. I then contacted Mojang support and they said to try the same things.

    None of my other games are experiencing this issue, only Minecraft.
