Minecraft will not download on Series X

Hi there, I’m trying to download Minecraft Bedrock Edition (not preview) which I own and am a game pass subscriber. Whenever I choose to “Install All” of Minecraft, nothing happens. It doesn’t appear in queue, it doesn’t notify me that it’s installing, nothing at all happens. It’s only Minecraft, as I’m able to install anything else without issue. When I view Minecraft in the store, it tells me that it is not compatible with my console (Xbox Series X). I have a Series S that installed it no issue. I’ve tried hard resetting, installing from my library, gamepass, and store, and nothing has changed. What can I do?

EDIT: I’ve tried downloading it from the mobile app and it also did not work. It just said it was waiting for my console indefinitely.

Ok I have both versions of GTA downloaded on my series x the Xbox one version works fine on the series x I then downloaded the series s/x version on the series x I then launched the game and it gives the error message

I have the Xbox one X project Scorpio, I was told that the game can be downloaded in any serie X or serie S (included mine), thanks for the help!!

Game can only be downloaded on a Series S and Series X, but not an Xbox One X. Xbox One X is not the same as a Series X.

Xbox Series X games / upgrades / updates has to be installed onto the Series X internal or expansion card SSD,

You can have Xbox One games on your external hard drive that will get an Series X upgrade but the games will need to be transferred to the Series X and then the Series X upgrade will need to be downloaded onto the Series X SSD,

As an example...

I have Marvel Avengers on my external hard drive that will get the Series X upgrade and I will transfer the game over to the Series X SSD ready to download and update the game to the Series X version when available.

May I know if you tried starting the download with a completely different wifi network?
For example sharing mobile data via wifi hotspot and connect your console in that way

If not, try instead changing momentarily your Xbox Console region temporarily via Xbox settings > System > Language and location and pick a random/different one
Once restarted, select again your current región and give it a new try

Microsoft introduces "Smart Delivery" with the Xbox Series X, which means, that if you own an existing game (like Minecraft in your example, or Gears 5) or a new game comes out for Xbox One and Xbox Series X with improved graphics on Series X, you won't
have to buy the game twice.

With Smart Delivery you will play the "enhanced" version on Series X, and the "normal" version on Xbox One.
