    I'm babysitting and they want to play minecraft with me but I only have one controller, I have a laptop and I'm wondering if I can play minecraft using my account thats being used on my xbox at the same time on my laptop?

    Unfortunately, one account cannot play games on two devices at the same time.

    However, if the kids you're babysitting create an account for them with their parents consent, they will be able to play Minecraft on your console as long as the console is set as your home console.

    At the same time you will be able to play Minecraft on your laptop with your account. To learn how game sharing works and how to set your Xbox as your home console, please refer to:

    Just make sure the Xbox is your Xbox and is at your home and that the kids have their parents consent to create an account and play with you.

    Please try instead downloading the game via Xbox PC app.

    Delete the actual minecraft launcher and all its components.

    It's nothing to do with Xbox I don't think. It's Minecraft on PC via Microsoft account. It was originally Mojang I think. Can you advise further?
