    Hi, does anyone know if the Minecraft upgrade price for Xbox One is still available. I have it on XBOX 360 and have played it recently, but when I try to buy it, it's still $20 instead of the $4.99. Any ideas? - Jeff

    Is XBOX ONE marketplace the same from XBOX 360?

    Some games offer a free upgrade or reduced price to upgrade to the Xbox One but for the most part they use different programming so are not compatible.

    Free Upgrade Games:

    Destiny (until Jan 15)

    CoD Advanced Warfare (I believe until March)

    Free upgrades for already purchased DLC

    Minecraft

    Rocksmith

    Pinball FX2

    Reduced price for upgrade

    Make certain that the account that bought Minecraft on your 360 and the account you are using to buy it for the ONE are the same. I made this mistake. My son actually bought the game with his account for the 360 but when I got it for the ONE, I used my account
    and paid the $20.

    Upgrade Game Pass Console to Game Pass Ultimate.

    If the $1 promotion is still available for you, you can upgrade through that. Otherwise you'd just have to purchase an Ultimate subscription at the regular price.

    That's the terms of which to get the price. Where does it state it needs to be present in payment history? No where once so ever.

    Expired Ultimate Game Pass

    The $1 promotion is only available to new subscribers. So since you've already had Ultimate, you would not be eligible for that price. You can still upgrade standard Gold to Ultimate if you purchase Ultimate at a regular price though.
