    I have purchased the xbox 360 edition of minecraft and want to upgarde to the one for only 5 dollars i have contacted the support team and they have proven that i have actually bought the xbox 360 edition of minecraft can i please get help for this because
    it wants me to pay the full 20 dollars

    ok so i have minecraft on my 360 and i want to upgrade it to the xbox one edition will i not be able to play it on the 360 if i upgrade it my son loves playing minecraft on 360 so i really don't want to see him lose it on the 360 so really my question would
    be

    i upgrade to xbox one edition of minecraft do i lose the rights to play it on the 360?

    The upgrade offer ended in February. You would need to pay the full price if you want the Xbox One version.

    You can only transfer your world from Minecraft 360 Edition to Minecraft One Edition to (new) Minecraft.

    Which Minecraft version do you use? For example, Minecraft 360 Edition in (new) Minecraft is not possible.

    Minecraft 360 Edition and Minecraft One Edition are out of support and now the Legacy Editions. New Minecraft is the Bedrock Edition

    As Smwutches stated the Bedrock edition is the upgrade from Minecraft Xbox One edition, the only way to play the Xbox One edition now is if you
    install it from a disc.

    I believe that this upgrade of minecraft editions is to do with the whole minecraft cross play thing.

    Hi, I'm afraid that upgrade offer expired a few years ago. If you wish to upgrade from "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition" to "Minecraft" for Xbox One, you will need to buy it again.

    In this case you can transfer worlds worlds from Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition to Minecraft Xbox One Edition or/and Minecraft Xbox One Edition to Minecraft.
