    Minecraft update???!


    Soooo a few days back my girlfriend and I tried to take advantage of that new "better together" update and it worked.. for A day. However we tried to play again the next day and it said "the server is outdated" every time she tried to join our world via
    her pc (the world was created on my Xbox 1) Now looking at the versions of Minecraft, mine is somehow the outdated one. I haven't received any updates for it and i'm slightly confused as to why we could play at first one day, then its outdated the next. Any
    advice?

    I'm pretty sure Minecraft is just Minecraft. One game, Minecraft. There is also Minecraft story mode, that is a very different game, a telltale series.

    Is this like Minecraft? I along with a few other adults have spent quite a lot of time building a city etc in Minecraft, but if this is anything like Minecraft then I might give it a shot as I use to love Lego

    I'm having the same issue. I was just playing minecraft today. I saw the update and it wouldn't let me update so I uninstalled minecraft to see if it would install the update when I reinstalled the game and now can't download minecraft at all.

    Hi Dylan,

    Thanks for keeping us updated with your replies. If the version of Minecraft you're using on disc is the Minecraft: Xbox One edition, then to update to the new Minecraft (Better Together), you'll need to purchase the game as it is a wholly different version.
    The free update from Minecraft: Xbox One edition to the new Minecraft edition (Better Together) ended on January 30th 2018.
