Minecraft unable to log in

this evening i played some Minecraft with mu sister. when it was my turn to play on the pc (i was on my laptop before) i couldn't get in my account. All i did was starting Enigmatica 6 up. it kept loading for a while and after it was finished, it said play demo and at the bottom was an error that said that Minecraft couldn't connect to minecraft.net. i tried starting it up using the normal launcher but still the same. i logged out and tried to log back in but now it gives an error that said: "something went wrong with the login process". this means i cant play Minecraft in my pc and i have to play it on my [mod removed] laptop. can someone please help me?

Without using a different wifi network could be more difficult to diagnose the problem...

Please try this in your PC:

A. Open the Control Panel in Windows.
After opening the control panel, set the “View by” on the top-right corner to “Large icons“.
Click on the “Network and Sharing Center” option.
Here, click on the “Change adapter settings” link on the left panel.
Now, right-click on the active network adapter and select “Properties“.
Go to the “Networking” tab.
Here, uncheck the “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” option.
Click on the “Ok” button to save changes.
Then close all the windows, restart your PC and try again

B. Use a custom DNS address, try with both Google and Cloud flare DNS

Hi Josef,

Unfortunately, I don't have access to a different device or a different network. I also do not have any VPNs and am using default windows firewall settings. I am able to log into my Microsoft account without any issues.

May I know if you tried using a completely different device?
Or wifi network?

Also, in case you have a VPN, firewall, proxy or similar service please disable each one before trying again

And, just to confirm. Are you able to sign in with your Microsoft account flawlessly here?
