    Minecraft Unable to Connect to Multiplayer


    Hello, I recently purchased minecraft java edition on minecraft.net. I started up the game, and then immediately saw that multiplayer was disabled. I changed my birthday to make sure I was over 18, removed my accounts from any family groups, and went into xbox settings and changed all the multiplayer permissions to allow. I saved changes and logged back in, and what do you know, multiplayer is still disabled. I cannon figure out where or what is causing this. I feel like I got ripped off, spending $30 on a game I can't even use. Any info is helpful. I do not know how to get a refund or if I can transfer my new minecraft profile to a new account.

Please test everything listed in the article including NAT type connectivity and privacy/multiplayer settings. If you are still unable to connect with each other, please contact Mojang Support directly with details regarding the troubleshooting you have attempted so far.
