minecraft texture pack loading issue

I have more so in the sense that I was not able to use any of my skins. All I could use were the default Steve and Alex skins. The issue was that I was part of the insider program and I eventually followed steps to remove myself from the program. Once I
did, it had me uninstall the game and then reinstall which worked fine after.

If you are not in the insider program, you may just end up having to uninstall Minecraft and then reinstalling it. Luckily Xbox One saves your save data both locally and to the cloud so you can delete away without worrying about your save date. Just make
sure to check first that you have save data on the console by hitting the "View button" (Which is the under the home button to the left with the two rectangles) over Minecraft and then look under saved data.

The reason for this is that Minecraft texture packs are usually downloaded as .zip or .rar files, not .jar files. It's possible that the file you downloaded is not actually a texture pack, or that it was downloaded incorrectly.

To open a Minecraft texture pack in the Java edition, you should follow these steps:

Download the texture pack from a trusted website, such as the official Minecraft website or a reputable modding website.

Once the file has downloaded, open the Minecraft launcher and click on "Options" and then "Resource Packs".

Click on "Open Resource Pack Folder". This will open the folder where your Minecraft resource packs are stored.

Move the downloaded texture pack file into the folder.

In the Minecraft launcher, click on "Done" and then go back to the "Resource Packs" section.

You should now see the new texture pack in the list of available resource packs. Click on it to select it, and then click "Done".

The texture pack should now be applied to your game.

I had the same problem with my savegames. I found a workaround that helped me to solve it:

1. delete the local savegames from your HDD

2. uninstall Minecraft and all texture packs

3. clean the xbox cache (hardreset)

4. install minecraft and all texture packs

Now you should be able to load your savegames.

If Minecraft is working fine without the texture pack, and only the textures are the issue, then MirrormasterOO7 needs to contact BDCraft first.

If MirrormasterOO7 is using Minecraft on the Xbox One, or the Windows 10 version, then Microsoft took the support for the "Bedrock" version of Minecraft.

Java Minecraft is Mojang's responsibility.

But since this problem is about a texture pack not working correctly, BDCraft has to provide support, and if there is a new incompatibility in a Minecraft version with their texture pack, BDCraft has to figure that out.

So MirrormasterOO7 has to contact BDCraft first, not Mojoang. And since Microsoft has bought Mojang, they are also providing the support.
