    Minecraft texture pack downloads but will not import on step 2


    Evening all.

    My daughter just purchased an Xbox Minecraft texture pack in the marketplace called ultra modern texture pack.

    It will download on step 1 but the step 2 importing it will do nothing, have waited ages for it to start but it won't.

    Is there a fix for this or .....

    Unfortunately this is not a rare issue, it seems Microsoft has taken extra care in making sure they break as many features as possible when they released their new consoles as well as system updates. As of right now, any new content on Minecraft will not be able to be installed as it cannot be imported from the old servers until Microsoft fixes it.

    Found a work around for that till it is fixed:

    Start downloading texture pack, wait till the download is finished and it is stuck on import. Press the home button and home to leave the game (don't quit it, just jump to the homepage) and jump back in minecraft. The import is starting then. Works for me every time.

    Hope it helps you all till it is fixed.

    My children has the same error, they buy sonic resource pack, press download, but in the step 2 (import) never progress :(

    Got the same problem. Series S with chroma Hills HD texture pack. This needed to be fixed asap
