    I purchased minecraft years ago. It was all working fine until I migrated my account and now I sign in on my launcher and it tells me that I need to purchase java I go to minecraft .net sign in with the same details and it tell me I've already purchased it and to download it. I'm getting really rather frustrated with this now and have been battling to find an answer for around 12 hours. My launcher I have downloaded 2 different launchers as they are saying that they can't connect to minecraft services. Can't someone please help because I have done everything on all the suggestions and nothing is working. Thanks

    Greetings Devilprincess31,

    Sorry to hear about your frustrations with the Minecraft migration. I want to start off by saying that there was a service issue last Friday that has since been resolved, so the issues with being not able to connect should be resolved.

    As for getting into the full version of the game. This is an entitlement issue with the migration. The migration would have moved your license over to your Microsoft account, which is where your game should now live. When signing into the launcher, make sure you're using your Microsoft account that you designated during the migration procedure. If anything, else is used, it will only give you the demo version.

    If you certain your account info is all logged in correctly but still have the problem, you will need to contact Minecraft support here and advise them of the issue and they can verify where the license went and would be able to help to resolve.

    It still says the same thing after closing all connecting accounts and resigning into my Microsoft account. It lets me sign in with my Microsoft account and then tells me I can only play the demo and need to re-purchase Minecraft. This is getting ridiculous, I just want my game to work like it did before the whole migration thing. It is a scam to FORCE players to migrate and then tell them they need to repay for a game they have been playing for X amount of years.
