    Minecraft Switch Black screen


    My daughter has Minecraft (digital) on the switch and recently the game refuses to load up and stays on a black screen. I have reset console (no change) checked for corrupt data (none) backed up data and reinstalled game (no change). However if we use one of the other profiles on the switch the game loads fine. Not sure what is causing the issue with her account. We cant even sign out from Microsoft to see if that the issue as it doesnt load. Any ideas as what it could be? It's not the first time issue like this have happened and support for the Switch version is.....well as supportive as a wet paper bridge.

    I am experiencing the same exact problem, cannot link a microsoft account to a Nintendo switch for Minecraft. I get a black screen after entering my password on Xbox live.

    I have been using a HDMI cable with Ethernet/3D capable and still only get the black screen. Even tried the switching of cables using the supplied Xone cable and still a black screen.

    First off disconnect the power brick for about 5 minutes. This will clear the memory cache, which may cause the black screen. If this does not work try a different cable and then an other tv. It may be an issue with the hdmi handshake rather than the console.
