I have already contacted minecraft support about a issue and they replied but the reply didn't even cover my issue and I am unable to contact them about the issue without reporting a new issue and I don't want to report it as a new issue just to have the problem not solved

The issue is that I redeemed the Founder's Cape on bedrock when it was available and had it equipped but then it disappeared from my dressing room I still have the "pan cape" which I redeem around the same time and the response I got back was that the event for the Founder's Cape is over and to keep checking for any new capes that may come out I don't even think he read my issue properly and the fact that I have already owned it

I only have the one minecraft account so it's not like I'm signed into a different account or something

I meant username not gamertag

I couldn't find any information regarding username changing/reverting anywhere so that's why I'm worried they straight up don't allow it. I had to ask here.

Ah, if you mean your XBOX gamertag, you can change that once for free and that after that a small charge may apply. If you are lucky, your original gamertag may now be available, unless it has since been re-assigned or locked off: https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/account-profile/profile/change-xbox-live-gamertag

If you are referring to something within Minecraft, you would need to contact Mojang support directly for that issue: https://help.minecraft.net/

Depending on what information you have, if you have the contact number you can reset the password if not you need to fill the recovery form
