    Minecraft stuck on locating server


    Me (xboxone) and my gf (switch) have been playing bedrock for a few months on a world she was hosting. One day I was unable to load into her world. My character appears in her game but cannot be interacted with. On my screen I am stuck on "locating server". I have tried every fix i csn find online. Port forwarding, dmz, trying to push/kill/teleport my character from her device, Unloading chunks, clearing mac address.

    I had her try creating a new world and I cannot join that either.

    She can join my worlds fine.

    Any ideas?

    Hello Marshall,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issues connecting to worlds. Have you tried shutting down the PC completely, click start, power option and shut down. When you restart try to launch the game again and see if connects. If that doesn't
    work try and
    uninstall and reinstall the game    .

    I am also having the same issue. I followed your suggestions and they have unfortunately not worked. Its strange as my fiancee can connect to me. We have figured out that two worlds cannot be played on so far but a brand new world works. Playing that would
    mean losing everything. We just defeated the ender dragon and explored some end cities.
