Minecraft stuck on “Locating Server”

    Minecraft stuck on “Locating Server”


    I have seen other people have the same issue, but for me it just wont go away. When I accept an invite from my friends or try to join them, I am stuck with Locating Server. I have Uninstalled and Downloaded the game twice, un-linked my microsoft account
    and tried with multiple worlds and servers but I still cannot join a realm, my friends worlds or a server. My internet is very good so that is not the issue. This is not happening to my other friends. They can all join without an issue. But i cant at all.
    I even tried on different accounts but still nothing.

    Hello Marshall,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issues connecting to worlds. Have you tried shutting down the PC completely, click start, power option and shut down. When you restart try to launch the game again and see if connects. If that doesn't
    work try and
    uninstall and reinstall the game    .

    I am also having the same issue. I followed your suggestions and they have unfortunately not worked. Its strange as my fiancee can connect to me. We have figured out that two worlds cannot be played on so far but a brand new world works. Playing that would
    mean losing everything. We just defeated the ender dragon and explored some end cities.
