Minecraft store purchases gone after Microsoft Account login on PS4

Hello,

I have a problem I can't seem to get fixed. I purchased some StarWars and Jurassic World expansions for my son to play on my PS4 using the in-game Minecraft store.

Because my son wanted to try online mode and play with a friend, I had to sync a Microsoft
Account to my PS4 account (which I did). However, now my remaining Minecraft coins are
gone as are the already purchased mod packs (they can't be accessed and a dialogue informs me that I need to "re-buy" the content).

I tried de-linking the Microsoft Gamertag account, but even when I do that, the Mods are gone and can't be accessed without rebuying.

It seems crazy that linking an account to play online would completely wipe out my purchases. I've tried reaching out to Mojang and Playstation, but everything just links me back here. There's also no phone support.

I would appreciate if anyone had any insight on how to gain access to my purchases again.
