Minecraft store purchases gone after Microsoft Account login on Nintendo Switch

Hello,

I have a problem I can't seem to get fixed. I got Minecraft on Nintendo Switch and bought some Minecraft Coins to get a Texture Pack in the ingame store.

Because I wanted to try online mode I had to register a Microsoft Account which I did. After logging in, my remaining Minecraft coins are gone as are the already purchased Texture packs. Seems they are not connected to my new Microsoft Account, just locally
to the switch/Nintendo Account. There has to be a way to link these so I can access my purchases while being logged in to the Microsoft Account?

Hope this helps out in answering your question. Also, this is my opinion if you are signing into other devices with the same Microsoft account like an Xbox or PC you would need to sign back in on the switch.

every time I go onto Minecraft for the switch I have to relog into my Microsoft account is there any way that I can keep my info so I dont have to keep on deleting my data and logging into my account?

Hi there,

I believe your previous texture pack purchases were unique to the platform they were purchased on. Not the best news, but I believe purchases like that are tied to the platform they are being played on as what runs well on one may not run well on another.

 

The platform I play Minecraft on didn't change. I still play on Nintendo Switch. You just need a Xbox Live Account to be able to play online. So this can't be it. I'm pretty sure it's some kind of bug..

 

For Minecraft on Nintendo Switch, Mojang is redirecting to Xbox Support so I think I'm in the right place?!

I own Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition and I’ve bought previous DLC. How do I get it to sync to Minecraft?

1. Log into Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition on your Switch account. This will sync the latest purchases.
2. Log into the Minecraft on your Switch and you’ll be automatically granted the entitlements for that DLC.
   

Note For every purchase you make on the previous version, you must first log into
Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition, exit, and then launch the new Bedrock version for purchases to sync. DLC purchased within
Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition will only remain on your Nintendo Switch device and will not carried over into other devices.
