minecraft storage issue

so i know this has been asked multiple times, but nothing has worked so far for me so i’m hoping in asking this again someone will be able to actually help me.

i play minecraft bedrock edition on my xbox one s, and since that horrible update a few years ago the out of storage pop up is quite repetitive. anyway, recently and today especially that pop up will not go away. i have deleted all of my worlds that i don’t use so it now only has 300mb of stuff (6 resource packs and two worlds) but will not let me play the game at all.

i have, like i said, deleted all of my worlds and such, reset the console, and i still can’t open any game or create a new world.

please help.

Thanks, do you have Minecraft installed on a external hard drive or the internal?

If you don't have external storage, do you have more than 90% used on the internal?

If yes, please delete some games and try again Minecraft

If you have the game installed on a external hard drive, please move the game to the internal.

When you say "reset my console" do you mean power cycle it? (like this)

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.

Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

After that, try to remove and re-add your profile on the console.

Or do you mean factory reset it via Settings > System > Console info > reset ?

Also, please let me know if you already tried the thing about deleting cloud saves for other games (this can be a bit odd but also delete clips uploaded to the xbox network)

Hey David,

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Nothing to worry about here, I'm going to try my best to help you resolve this issue as quickly and easily as possible.

First I would like to verify your storage space available. From the home screen, Go to
"My games and apps". Once on this page, you should see your total storage space, along with your space remaining on the bottom left.

After verifying you have enough space available, please perform a power cycle on your Xbox one. The power cycle, when done using these steps, will clear the cache and refresh the Xbox.

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console
for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
Wait 30 seconds. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the
Xbox button on your controller. Let us know the results! I'm thinking your console may have needed a refresh after downloading for extended periods of time.

Same thing is happening to me, I’ve followed the steps and it’s still saying the same thing. I have 1.2tb space remaining

thank you for replying.

the message only appears with minecraft, all other games work fine.

this comes up when i try to open/play on a world, open the marketplace, etc.
