    Minecraft stays trail after importing code from Majong and after adding a payment option.


    After installing Windows 10 i saw the Minecraft beta, so i downloaded/installed it, seeing if it is Java-less (i refuse Java on my machine). And yes it runs. So back to the store and on to Mojang, redeeming the code i was given and all seemed well.

    But the game kept showing the trail message. After contacting support they told me the account look ok but i had to add a payment method to my account. So i did. That evening the game did no longer show the trial message.

    But a day later that message is back and the 90-minute count was at zero. Ik went back to my account info and checked if the payment method was stil there, and it is. What i did notice was that my transaction log shows 2 entries for 'Minecraft: Windows 10
    Edition Beta', both on the same day and both completed.

    Tried to remove the game & re-install. Same result. Tried to remove the game find & delete all 'minicraft' hits on my disk and find and delete all 'minecraft' hits in my registry. Same result.

    Now what? What to do?

    Status Code 80070057 problems with free month trial

    When I try and receive the 1 month free trial after adding in all my payment details and options status code 80070057 which states 'Can't retrieve information from Xbox Live. Please try again later.'

    The payment option is a requirement for the trial period in case you decide to stay after the 30 days are up.

    I totally understand where you are coming from, in order to redeem your Xbox game pass codes for the first time on a Microsoft Xbox account, it is an important requirement to have at least one active payment method for the system to verify that your account is capable of renewal.

    You've got nothing to worry, after adding a payment method on account.microsoft.com > payment and billing > payment option

    and redeeming the codes on your account on redeem.microsoft.com

    You can remove the payment method immediately by disabling the automatic renewal of your subscription on account.microsoft.com > services and subscription.

    Then you can remove the payment card under "Payment Option"

    you can set you auto renewal to off but you cant remove your payment method till your free trail is done with.iam currently in the xbox music 30 day trial myself and set my auto renewal to off so as my payment would not go through so after my free trail
    is finshed i can remove the payment method.
