  1. Minecraft splitscreen multiplayer not working?

I have an Xbox 360 slim connected to a 1080p TV via HDMI cable, and my friend has her silver account on my hard drive, but it won't let us play splitscreen multiplayer. I've done it before multiple times with my little sisters and never had any issues with
the game. I've tried disconnected from the internet and trying to play, switching HDMI cables, and even the HDMI input on the tv to no avail. Has anyone had this issue and fixed it somehow? Or have any ideas on how to fix it?

    :)

This is totally correct. The only possible way to play Minecraft on the Xbox split-screen is to play in HD which DOES require an HDMI cable and a HDTV.

    Minecraft Splitscreen Multiplayer

I recently purchased the disc version of Minecraft for my XBOX 360. I got home and set it up, updated everything that needed it. And tried to play splitscreen multiplayer with my siblings. Nothing worked. I went online and it said i need an HDMI cable
or an RGB cable. Since there is no plug in for an RGB cable, I must need an HDMI cable to play. Correct? I wanted to make sure before buying one.

That is a strange one. Disconnected from the Internet and you should be good to go. No separate WiFi connecting you without your knowledge by any chance? Unsure if it would be a licensing issue if she is licensed on another console, as I've never tried to
    play that way.
