    Minecraft split screen multiplayer issue


    I purchased the downloadable version of minecraft on my xbox one a couple of days ago. When playing on it yesterday with my brother the split screen worked perfectly. However when we tried to play again today, on player 2's screen there was a thick line
    through it. This line was transparent but kind of blurry so you could still play but it was very difficult and distracting. We tried exiting the game and turning the xbox on and of but it was still there. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have
    any suggestions of anything I could try? Thankyou, any help will be appreciated Minecraft split screen multiplayer issue :)

    Playing two player on minecraft with Xbox 360

    What kind of TV do you have? Minecraft requires an HD TV for split screen multiplayer.

    So me and my friends wanted to play Minecraft split screen, and it doesn't work, I have the HDMI cable and a HD TV. Long story short, Minecraft Multiplayer (Split Screen) doesn't work on my Xbox. But it works on my friends Xbox and on my HD TV.

    Minecraft split screen multiplayer issue

    I am also having this issue. The only way I have found to resolve it is to turn off the HUD on the second players account. This is equally as annoying. I'm surprised I'm not seeing more posts about this.

    Hi.

    Yeah so if we use Minecraft as an example.

    You can play Minecraft local split-screen multiplayer, in order to do this the world your in has to be Offline.

    I'm wanting to know if you could create a world that allows 'Multiplayer' could you still then go split-screen on the same console together but then someone online could also join you?

    Hope this makes sense.

    If you're trying to play split-screen,you'll need your Xbox to be in high definition.You either need the red/blue/green/red/white cables or a HDMI cable.For some reason Minecraft won't let you play split-screen multiplayer in
    standard definition.
