    How do I get multiple players on Minecraft for Xbox

    you can only play spiltscreen on the high definition verson of minecraft you have probably got the standard verson

    I did not think split screen works on nonwidesceen tvs. There was some controversy when it 1st came out.

    Sorry no. You need to have the console connected via HDMI cable in order to play split screen.

    there are / were 2 other cables capable of hdtv signal, as long as your resolution is set to minimum 720p it works. if your tv does not support it there is no chance of splitscreening minecraft.

    there are / were 2 other cables capable of hdtv signal, as long as your resolution is set to minimum 720p it works. if your tv does not support it there is no chance of splitscreening minecraft.

    Either what BootyBox has answered, or you need to be playing in 720p HD or higher display settings.
