    Minecraft sound not working


    I recently bought and downloaded the windows 10 edition off the windows store to find that there are no sounds upon starting the game.

    I tried everything I could find to fix the game.. I made sure I hadn't changed any settings in game that could cause it. I uninstalled, restarted, and reinstalled. I used the hardware and device troubleshooter and the play sound troubleshooter. I updated
    all my sound drivers. I made sure windows was updated. I tried changing the output through the Xbox Live app. I running the game with the "audio enhancements" option and the "let application take control of device" option in my audio device's property menus.

    Other than the in-game sound everything else works fine; all other applications work and the game functions perfectly other than the sound.

    Is there anyway I can get the sound to work that I haven't tried yet.

    do you get sounds from other games and the dashboard?

    also go to the options & make sure that the in game audio settings are set to have everything turned all the way down

    sounds like an issue with the version of minecraft.

    It sounds like the realm was created on a newer version of minecraft than what you have installed. Just check for an update to minecraft.

    It's either a bug or the volume is turned all the way down. It's however more likely a problem because of the xbox, because somehow a lot of people can't play sound on their xbox with certain games. Normally restarting the game shall fix it, but if it doesn't,
